iNeonlabs: Web Technology Research and Development
In search of new and innovative ways of creating new forms of design. This is a research and development website for Donnneon.com and Innercore Datatek Global Systems, which is a subsidiary of Donnneon.com. The purpose of this website is to gain either more information, put out more information about webdesigning and coding and other forms of apps related to webdesign.
It is also to explore other design forms and develop other themes and direction of new ideas that will help in developing a better understanding of website interactivity. Color schemes and layout are also in the forefront of this knowledgebase which will include past webdesigns and future conceptual designs.
iNeonlabs is a research website and not intended to be anything other than that, more of the behind the scenes website for self-exploration and research and development and interactivity among other designers and artists.
This is a alpha/beta web release information design project.
Current Trends in Webdesign
Using full widescreen for the layout with the "Box" navigation, instead of the standard SideBar and TopBar navigation bar, isn't new, but hasn't really caught on. FX Network is using it, so it goes into my category of new ways of doing things.
The gradient background with sparse text and images to streamline the layout is also the new approach that is currently being utilized in webdesign, along with the Flash slideshow NavBar.
